Just wanted everyone to know that if you need anything (directions, food recommendations, fun) to get a hold of us.

Otherwise, see you on the dance floor!

Hey Y'All

We've decided to request that our guests simply bring themselves to our wedding. We've been living together for a wee bit and don't need much as we're planning on moving right after the wedding. If you would like to contribute to our moving fund, we will graciously accept any donations.

Your presence is our present!

I do realize some folks would like to give gifts, regardless. So, Paul and I have officially registered at Target.com, if you are so inclined.

Some Wedding Dress Ideas....

Ah, the wedding dress! What a choice among choices! It's going to take awhile for me to figure this out, but here are the initial ideas...

And, per your requests, here are a few dresses I've been looking at on etsy. They are obviously vintage dresses, which I love. Both here have amazing style and are unique! The colors are way too bit dark, but definitely interest me. I like the length and the fabric, as well.

Some of the actual wedding dresses that I like look
like these below. I've been looking at quite a few dresses
and have decided I don't want to look like a. a curtain, b. a hippie and c. an explosion of white fabric. I also have to remember the wedding will be in August and I do not want to look back and
think, "Wedding...what a hot, sweaty day!"

This dress to the left is pretty gorgeous. It's light, has some length and looks comfortable. I do realize it's a lot longer than the dresses mentioned above, but I do feel partial to it.

The dress to the right is actually from jcrew.com.
It's very, very simple but the potential to make it amazing is there. I like this dress for the same reasons as the dress above. If I chose a simple dress
like either of these two, there would be some additions made to "fancy" things up a bit. I'd also most likely dye the dresses, as I like color!

Obviously, there are tons of dresses out there but simple is where I'm heading, with some decisions to make about length and color. Some surprises will have to be left for the actual day! But rest assured that I will NEVER look like this:

(Paul says this is his favorite, so far. Go figure.)

Valentines Day...more like Schmalentines Day...

Blog-enthusiasts...Paul here. Here is an update for our 1 follower. The place we have chosen for the reception has fired all of its employees, putting us in a place-finding quandary. So, we are looking at another place that is "our style". The kicker...it seems that everybody in Bloomington has contact info to rent this space out but us. We are trying, dear readers and blessed family members, to provide an air-conditioned place to dance the night away and celebrate the love we have for each other. We will keep all (one) of you posted about this reception situation.

In other news, Miranda and I are doing very well. I'm waiting to hear if I got accepted to IU for grad school. Sid, the little boy Miranda takes care of, is falling even more in love with Miranda as the days go by. It is cute to watch their love blossom.

Be good faithful readers, with love and love.

Paul

P.s. I'm attaching a photo of Miranda & I over last summer break...

Sitting Under a Quilt...

Greetings All! As Paul and I continue down the path of life, we've decided a blog is in order. Hopefully this will help us not only communicate with the people we love more efficiently but will be a space where we can share our ideas with family, friends, etc. Of course, there will be information about our wedding, but also pictures and general jibberish.

Selamat Sore! Namaste! Assalamwailakum! Hello! This is Paul...um...that is all I have so far...just a bunch of random 'hello's' and, um, love for everyone!!!!! Here is a picture from me...

...before the trim. ayuk yuk yuk. Well people, this should be fun. Miranda is alright, and so are you. But not as much as Miranda, almost, but not as much. With love ~ P
